More international tourists continue trooping into the country as the government eases travel restrictions.

And for the first time in many decades, domestic tourism is also on a high as Kenyans enjoy their motherland. Travel restrictions – international and local – imposed in 2020 served a huge lesson to Kenyans.

Trustpilot recently issued a review of the top 10 hotels in the country. The globally renowned firm awarded Five Star Alliance a 4.8 star ranking on its list of top 10 hotels operating in Kenya.

Fairmont Norfolk Hotel is among the oldest hotels in Kenya. It was established in 1904 within Nairobi’s central business district. The 165-roomed hotel with three-storey buildings is among the most prestigious five-star hotel in the city.

It underwent a major expansion in 1999 and got a major renovation in 2004 to celebrate 100 years of existence.

Other features of the hotel include eight huge conference rooms with a capacity of 175 guests. The outdoor swimming pool is heated, a gym, sauna, and steaming room. A room costs between $109 and $154 per night.

Fairmont Mara Safari Club
