The Victoria Falls Tour in Zambia and Zimbabwe


The iconic Victoria Falls located on the Zambezi River along the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe is the largest and most spectacular waterfall in the world with its length more than a kilometre and measures 100 metres in height. Its thrilling nature has given birth to the Victoria Falls Canopy Tour which is very popular in Matabeleland North Province in Zimbabwe.

The highly adventurous three-hour tour costs $60. One of the most exciting moments in the Victoria Canopy Tour is the magical view of Zambezi rapids, the magnificent Victoria Falls Bridge and the Fall’s mist (spray). The Victoria Canopy Tour has nine slides, all different in length and one cable bridge walkway which is a force to reckon with.

At the top of the canopy, you can view to length the riverine forest from different points; while at the peak of the canopy, below it and within the canopy itself. Nature lovers have a lot in store as bird watching here is a spectacle to behold. The rare Knysna, Purple Crested Turaco and Peregrine Falcons can are some of the bird species to find here.

Rope bridge walkways and trails within the hardwood-ridden Zambezi gorges forest is touted to be the best family adventure where children can also participate. Thrill seekers have their fantasy taken care of with a long zip line high above the gorge.
