Where is Silvan Safari Lodge Located?

Silvan Safari Lodge is in the heart of Sabi Sand Game Reserve. Its proximity to Kruger National Park adds to its list of delights and mind-blowing experiences. Sabi is part of Greater Kruger, where dozens of wildlife, including lions, buffalos, leopards, elephants, and rhinos, live. Visitors can reach Silvan Airstrip through Nelspruit’s Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport or Skukuza Airport. Regular flights to and from these airports depart from major South African cities such as Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban.

Additionally, it takes five to six hours to drive to Sabi Sands Game Reserve from Johannesburg. Architectural landscape at Silvan Safari Lodge is an engineering marvel. It features a mix of classic and modern designs which is uncommon in Mzansi. Wood and bricks hold the structures in the lodge and are complemented by floor-to-ceiling windows to allow more natural light into the property.

It’s easy to see wildlife through these large windows from the comfort of the lodge. Sunrise and sunsets become so inviting from the lodge. Silvan’s interior décor is a splash of soothing traditional and modern decorations.

Luxurious Suites

Silvan Safari Lodge has six luxurious suites, each featuring a private deck a plunge pool and lots of space. The decks overlook the expansive Sabi Sand Game Reserve and it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature’s beauty.

Further, every suite bears the name of an indigenous tree and they feature rustic and modern décor. An outdoor shower for every suite spices things up and a fireplace grounds love in cold evenings. Lastly, there are two Landrovers allocated for the six suites for use by occupants in moving around the reserve.

Silvan Safari Lodge Rates

A night at the lodge sets you back $2000 for the cheapest suite only accommodating one person. Family suite rates start at $6700 per night while charges per night for exclusive start at $20700 a night. Exclusive use means that the suite can accommodate 14 people including children above 12 years.

However, guests can only book for a minimum of three nights over Christmas and New Year season running from December 20 to January 6.
