If you’re thinking about visiting Zanzibar, think no further than the Moja Tuu Luxury Villas and Nature Retreat in Kiwengwa, Zanzibar.

This 51-roomed 5-star hotel stands out in every way, shape and form. The villas that dot the facility are luxurious and designed to give its guests comfort while visiting these magical islands.

Moja Tuu is situated in Menai Bay, about 12 km from Zanzibar. Windsurfing, swimming, biking, snorkelling, tennis and diving sports are available at the hotel.

In appreciating diversity, the staff at the hotel are multilingual with deep mastery of English, German, Italian, Arabic, Hindi and the obvious, Swahili. The villas come in eight versions and start at $110/night.

They also have idyllic views of the ocean and the lush gardens surrounding the hotel. The villas have different capacities some holding two guests at maximum while others hold 4, 7 and 8 guests respectively. Villas which accommodate 4 guests and above have a private pool, patio, terrace and mini-bars.

Moja Tuu The Luxury villas and Nature Retreat has a dedicated children’s park section that comes with babysitters, game rooms, children menu, cribs and a kids playing area. The Spa features a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sun terrace, sauna and a massage and wellness centre.

Continental breakfast served at the resort’s on-site restaurant is out of this world, I must admit! It is so delicious and one of the best breakfasts views enjoyed while sitting on the resort’s terrace.

The resort is 3 km away from Kichwele Forest Reserve and the gorgeous Kiwengwa Beach.
