Big 7, a consortium of the world’s leading tourism companies, rated the upscale coastal beach among Africa’s finest beaches. The firm recently launched the 50 Best Beaches in the World report.

First, Big 7 derived its findings from a list of reviews from various organizations, recommendations from customers, and coverage from various media publications. It comes at the onset of the summer holidays when Kenya’s coast expects a peak from European visitors.

And Diani Beach is one of the favourite vacation destinations for international travellers. In it is a secret allure that keeps drawing visitors back.

It’s a private resort situated on the south coast of Mombasa. One of the things making it so famous is its breathtaking location in Kenya’s holidaying coastal region.

The coastal beach prides in international accolades over the course of its history. During the Travelers’ Choice Awards in the year 2020, it got the highest possible ranking in the world.

Is There an Airport to Diani Beach?

The Moi International Airport in Mombasa is the airport that is most convenient for flying to and from Diani Beach. You can fly in via Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or catch one of the direct flights from Europe or other African countries. Both options are available.

There is a modest airfield located on the outskirts of Ukunda where charter flights land. From here, the beach is a few kilometres away and the road network is perfect. Ideally, you can fly to Diani with ease from Nairobi or any other city in the world.
