Here, you also get the golden opportunity to spot the Big 5 and the rare white rhino. The habitat comprises forests, lakes, rivers and waterfalls and is a great destination for a day trip. If you’re feeling more adventurous, you can go extreme and do abseiling or bungee jumping.
2. Chaminuka Game Reserve
If you thought you had seen it all at Lusaka National Park then you’re absolutely wrong. Spend your second day in Lusaka at Chaminuka Game Reserve, which is a paradise well-stocked with a variety of animals.
The private reserve sits on top of a hill overlooking Lake Chitoka and is home to 72 different species of Zambian mammals and reptiles. Cheetahs are the main attractions here but you’ll also see lions, elephants, ostriches and hyenas while exploring the landscape.
3. Lusaka National MuseumÂ
If wildlife is not what brings you to Lusaka then no need to worry since there are other attractions such as Lusaka National Museum which got you covered. Here, you get the opportunity to see different arts and contemporary paintings with the sculpture that predicts Zambian history and culture.
