Fly to Kilimanjaro from Washington DC for $608 roundtrip with Qatar Airways


Tanzania’s Kilimanjaro area is an epic reality of what modern-day adventure looks and feels like.

It is here that Africa’s highest mountain towers majestically and is surrounded by beautiful sceneries, rolling hills and an amazing ecosystem that attracts hundreds of thousands every year.

It is against this backdrop that Qatar Airways will have the cheapest rates for a roundtrip to Kilimanjaro from Washington DC starting January to May 2021.

For a roundtrip – From Washington DC to Kilimanjaro, it will cost just $608 with Qatar Airways.

The flight taking 35 hours, 10 min from Washington DC to Kilimanjaro will have a stop in Doha, Qatar before proceeding to Tanzania.

The return flight is shorter; 30 hours, 50 min with two stops. One in Tanzania’s capital Dar es Salaam and Doha. It will then proceed to Washington DC.

With the COVID-19 pandemic ravaging the globe, Qatar Airways has put in place elaborate safety measures to cushion passengers from contracting the virus while on board.

Passengers are encouraged to check-in online as a way to reduce interaction with staff at the airport Through Qatar Airways App or print out the boarding pass at home. For luggage, Qatar Airways has taken convenience a notch higher with My Q-Tag, a new online self-service tool. Attach My Q-Tag to your luggage and drop it off to the ‘Web Check-in Bag Drop’ 60 minutes before the departure of the scheduled flight. Every customer can print a maximum of 3 baggage tags.

Further, all passengers will be required to wear a face mask while boarding, onboard and while disembarking. The airline will also provide a face shield to all passengers at the airport. They are required to wear them when boarding and disembarking.

For the economy class, they are required to have the face shield on while onboard but passengers in business class can wear the face shield at will.
