Argentine Mauro Icardi is currently enjoying his holiday in Kenya. The Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) striker is together with his wife Wanda Nara.
He arrived a few days ago from Rwanda where he made his first trip to Africa before flying to Kenya. The 29-year-old is having a time of his life in this East African country.
Icardi adds to the list of celebrities who visited Kenya in the past among them Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles, Barrack Obama, and American singer Ashanti.
Others are Angelina Jolie, Naomi Campbell and recently, Sabrina Dhowre Elba – wife to British actor Idriss Elba. Here are two magical places Mauro Icardi visited in Kenya.
Giraffe Manor
It’s one of the prestigious places to visit in Nairobi that’s irresistible to visit. The Safari Collection owns this luxury boutique hotel. Giraffe Manor, located in Nairobi’s Langata neighbourhood and is popularly known as one of the most Instagrammed residences in the world.
This private property sits on a 12-acre piece of land surrounded by indigenous woodland. Located in Nairobi, the Giraffe Manor is one of the city’s most well-known landmarks.

When the Whites first arrived in East Africa in the 1930s, the stately manor house was a magnet for tourists eager to experience the thrill of safaris. In fact, one of the hotel’s twelve guest rooms is named after author Karen Blixen, who wrote the novel Out of Africa, because to the hotel’s regal exterior and magnificent interior.
The highlight at the Giraffe Manor which remains an intriguing memory for Mauro Icardi is a herd of Rothschild’s giraffes that lives here. These giraffes come and go throughout the day, pushing their long necks into the windows hoping for a treat before returning to their forest home.

Maasai Mara
Maasai Mara is a popular tourist destination across the world. It’s the seventh wonder of the world courtesy of the Great Migration where over two million wildebeest migrate to Serengeti in Tanzania every year.
What’s stunning is how these animals cross the crocodile-infested Mara River. August is the best time to see the stunning river crossings from the northern Serengeti into the Masai Mara, according to most experts. The Masai Mara National Reserve is open to the public. So you can head to one of the private conservancies that border the reserve for a more exclusive safari experience.
Because not all wildebeests migrate to Kenya, the herds split up into smaller groupings. Only around half of the animals remain in the northern Serengeti, while the remainder is in the Masai Mara, sharing battle stories. So while wildebeest can still be seen in the Serengeti (albeit not in the mega-herds). The Maasai Mara is the most excellent site to watch the Migration in September.

Besides the wildebeest migration, Mauro Icardi had to be in the Mara and experience the thrill of the wild here. The ‘Big Five’ call this home. Together with Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, the Mara constitutes Africa’s most diversified, magnificent, and spectacular eco-systems.
Maasai Mara is one of the world’s best safari big game viewing eco-system. The Reserve covers 1,510 square kilometers (580 square miles). The area is at least twice as large as it was before the addition of conservation areas. It is home to about 95 different kinds of mammal species, as well as over 570 different kinds of birds.
The Serengeti National Park and the Maasai Mara form the World Cup of Wildlife. And there is no better venue in the world to witness what they have to offer.
