Nigeria’s Central Bank
The design of the Central Bank of Nigeria in Lagos is indeed beautiful rising to about 330 ft (100 m). The L-shaped building has 19 floors, 6 of which are used as parking lots while 13 are used for office space. It has a capacity of 500 seats in its auditorium.
Federal Ministry of Defence
As the powerhouse in Nigeria, the county’s Defence ministry headquartered in Abuja have a ship-like shape, a sign of authority and power. It has been christened the Ship House.
Four Points by Sheraton Lagos
Four Points by Sheraton Lagos is one of its kind. Erected on Victoria Island, this the architecture behind this pleasure-seeking hub with beaches, movie theatre and shopping mall is something to admire.
National Theatre Lagos
National Theatre Lagos is the place where all performing arts shows are held. It was built in mid1970’s but it still exudes some commanding force in regard to its architectural design that is hat-shaped. It sits on a 23,000 square metres piece land and towers 31 metres high. It has a capacity of 5,000 people.
ECOWAS building in Abuja
Found in Nigeria’s capital, the H-shaped ECOWAS building is an architectural masterpiece housing ECOWAS commission.
Akwa Ibom Library
The magnificent building in Uyo is the best-designed library in West Africa. It offers digital library services and multifunctional conference centre.
