The sixth annual Paris Peace Forum opened in the French capital with global leaders addressing pressing issues like climate change, migration, cybersecurity, and carbon market reform. 

The forum aims to enhance global governance mechanisms, fostering cooperation on a wide range of challenges. 

French President emphasized the need to provide aid to vulnerable countries during the annual Paris Peace Forum. 

The event, held on November 10 and 11, 2023, brings together global governance actors, including states, international organizations, local governments, and NGOs. 

There's a call to quadruple annual private capital mobilization by multilateral development banks to $240 billion by 2030. 

Focus on achieving a more solid and inclusive recovery by addressing gaps in global governance is a key theme of the forum. 

The fifth and most recent edition of the Paris Peace Forum was held on 11-12 November 2022 at the Palais Brongniart, focusing on preserving global cooperation in times of war.

The Paris Forum annually gathers more than thirty representatives from sovereign creditors and debtors, of which the members of the G20, the members of the Paris Club, and countries from the different regions of the world. The following countries participated in the first editions of the Paris Forum. 

The name Paris is derived from its early inhabitants, the Parisii, a Gallic tribe from the Iron Age and the Roman period.
