Africa's finest wildness is Lower Zambezi.

The Zambezi waterways offer wonderful views of game moving in and out of the park.

The entire territory on both banks of the Zambezi River, including the Park, is a wildlife sanctuary.

The bank of the river is covered by a dense riverine fringe that includes ebony and fig trees.

Mopane woodland, winterthorn, and large acacias border a floodplain inland. Broadleaf woods covers the hills behind the Park.

Most of the game in Lower Zambezi National Park is on the valley floor, despite its 4092 square kilometres.

The northern escarpment blocks most of the Park's animals. Elephant herds, up to 100 strong,

Waterbuck and buffalo "island hop." The park also has lions, leopards, and fish eagles.
